Audits

External audits are a "must have" in compliance programs.

One of the fundamental parts of an effective compliance program are external audits.

They represent an objective opinion not only of the level of compliance of the companies but also of their programs, protocols, privacy policies and reporting channels. How well do your policies or protocols comply with international law? Are you completely sure that your policies adhere to the corresponding international or national legislation? What evidence does your company have that employees comply with their internal policies? Does your compliance monitoring systems meet the requirements established by law?

Having a compliance program is a good step, evaluating and testing it is essential.

It is not enough to have a compliance program, it must be tested, these are an essential requirement for international standards.
